RIP to Your Current Marketing Strategy

Dead is the era of relying on just one AI giant to carry your brand.
Today Anthropic officially passed OpenAI in business adoption. The fallout was immediate and chaotic. We are witnessing what looks like a Big Billion Day sale for Artificial Intelligence.
OpenAI is offering free months to switchers. Anthropic Claude is increasing usage limits by 50 percent till July 13th.
If you are in performance marketing, this is your moment.
Think about a standard marketing use case. You are scaling Meta Ads and trying to optimize your unit economics. Usually, generating that amount of creative and technical code would cost you a massive monthly salary for a senior engineer. Right now, you are getting that same output for a 200 dollar subscription. It is a massive win for your profit and loss statements.
But here is the warning.
These sale prices are not permanent. You are not just a customer, you are the training data. The tech giants are eating the costs of compute today because they want your adoption and your habits. We have seen this pattern before with Facebook Ads and Uber.
The land grab happens first, the habit forms, and then the real prices arrive. You are currently enjoying a temporary exemption from reality.
My advice is to use these tools like crazy while they are subsidized. Maximize your output today and build your projects. But do not get locked into one ecosystem. Keep your workflows flexible so you can migrate your data and prompts to a new model in an hour if the costs skyrocket.
Enjoy the sale while it lasts but always keep your exit strategy ready.
